Speaking Tour
Common Sense for the Third Millennium is currently building a nation-wide network of chapters. The first step is promulgation of the ideas contained in In the Service of Gaia: The Call.
To that end, George Drake, author of The Call and president of CS iii, is on a speaking tour of the American East, North East and Midwest. The expected itinerary will book venues in the East until September 18, the Northeast from the 18th through approximately October 3, and the Midwest until October 17. Following that, he is looking for engagements on the west coast, where he lives.
Mr. Drake charges no fee and is seeking opportunities to meet with environmental groups that invite guest speakers, Kiwanis clubs, Rotary, etc., any kind of young people's club, and senior's associations or other civic and/or religious organizations interested in thought provoking and entertaining speakers.
His talk at the Mars Society conference in early August was very well received, and led to an invitation to interview with "Around Space", a local public access station from Fairfax, Virginia.
Volunteers are needed with access (i.e., physical, email, personal contact) to any of these regions and/or types of groups to help arrange appointments for presentations. Even if you can only suggest a group that might be looking for such a speaker, please email George Drake.
